UPDATE ON MY DIGITAL HAPPENINGS

I thought I would share on this blog some of my happenings and plans for the future.

I am no longer on any Creative Teams.  I prefer to just do my own scrapbooking and not have to look for photos to suit a certain kit for a designer.

I have removed the links for some of the kits I designed last year as I want to add to  and possibly improve on some of the them.  My plan is to eventually have them ready to offer to sell in a store if that is what the Lord wants me to do.

I have realised of late that I have not been including direction from God in the decisions I have been making concerning what digital forums I join and how much money I have spent in the stores of these forums.

Now my future plans to sell my kits is in God's hands.

Free Mini Kit - Caramel Pie

It has been sometime since I designed a mini kit to give away and this month over at Gotta Pixel they are having a great challenge to design a mini kit that we can give away on our own blogs.
If you are looking for a great digital forum to be part of , please pop over to Gotta Pixel  HERE and if you want to check out the challenge I have taken part in check it out HERE

When I saw the colour swatch for  the challenge what  first came to my mind was "Caramel Pie" so that is the mini kit I have designed.  If you click on the preview you should be able to download  the kit which I hope you enjoy using.

Beth - a Free Kit I designed in honour of my mother

This month, being May, is the month of Mother's Day. This will be my first Mother's Day without my mother who died 10th Febuary 2012. She was diagnosed on 1st December 2011 with inoperable liver cancer and given 5 days to live but she lasted 11 weeks. During her dying days I designed a digital scrapbooking kit in honour of her, which is why I named it after her - BETH.  She really liked pink, did a lot of embroidery and cross stitching; her favourite flower was the carnation.

I will share the preview of the kit and below will add the links below that to download. There are three files to download - two element files and one paper file.

(the link for this kit has been removed)

I also created a layout during those weeks using the kit:

Please if you do download this kit and create a page using it let me know  in a comment and add a link to the gallery where you share it.

CD Size Template to Give Away for Free

I have just become part of the Challenge Team over at Scrapbook Bytes and I am so excited to be hosting a Faith Challenge each month.  Please check out this month's challenge  HERE

This is the template I created for those that want to do their page in CD size:
If you would like to download this template for free HERE it is.
Here is the page I created using a lovely kit called Today I  Am by Follow Your Bliss Designs

The reason I created the CD size template is because the pages I am creating are to be displayed each month in a CD case. Here is a photo of how it looks. You carefully remove the lid of the empty case and carefully turn in around and replace it. Someone at Scrapbook Bytes made the suggestion that you can just place the page in the CD case and close it up to use as a coaster and not as a frame like I do.
